When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We the People.

If the first paragraph gives you the chills, and you completely embrace the second statement, you should take a stroll on Shakedown Street. A place where the sunny side of the street is dark.

For too long the "politicians" and "leaders" we elect have been using their positions of public service as their own personal bank account.

Thomas Jefferson, Tom Paine, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and the rest of the Founding Fathers would be appalled at the state of the Country they worked so hard to bring into being.

It is time WE THE PEOPLE took our Country back. And here on Shakedown Street we will talk about that and many other things.
